Notes

For RTR to be able to connect to the robot, it must be fully powered on. The startup screen should show complete initialization.

Network Configuration

The network settings should also be configured. To do this, press “Setup Robot” from the main screen, and then “Network”, as shown below

In the Network menu, set up the IP address. RTR suggests using statically assigned IP addresses, and reserving 192.168.0.10 for the RTR controller, and using 192.168.0.20, 192.168.0.30, 192.168.0.40 etc for robots. The subnet mask should be set to 255.255.255.0.

Once the network configuration has been completed, use the Realtime Controller to ping the robot to make sure that the two devices can communicate successfully.
